Susan Boyle, who became popular through "Britain's Got Talent", has finally fulfilled her longtime dream to sing for the Pope.
Before getting famous, Susan Boyle used to sing in churches and it was her life dream to perform before the pope. Her dream turned into reality on Thursday, September 16.
In the opening act for the Holy Father's open air mass, Susan Boyle sang for the pope, who attracted 60,000 people to Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.
Susan Boyle was very much excited and speechless. Before her performance, Susan Boyle described the whole phenomenon as a humbling and beyond words experience.
Susan Boyle sang "I Dreamed a Dream", which brought her success, along with almost 800-strong choir as a back-up.
Later, Susan Boyle performed a version of hymns "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace" and "How Great Thou Art", which inspired the crowd to join the singing.
In the four-day scheduled visit of Benedict XVI's, Susan Boyle is likely to meet him on Friday.
