A lot of people have been talking about the Dallas Morning News according to which, two men were killed this morning when a drunken driving suspect plowed through a bus shelter across Parkland Memorial Hospital. The news was reported in Dallas Morning News and it spread like rapid fire after that.
The men were apparently sleeping in the Dallas Area Rapid Transit stop shortly after 2 a.m. Dallas Morning News also reported that both victims were homeless men in their 30s, and they died on the spot.
Julian Cadena Cerda, 50, was arrested after stumbling through a field sobriety test, witnesses said, and is being held at the Dallas County Jail. The incident was also witnessed by a youth minister, Reginald Meriweather, who volunteers at the nearby Salvation Army shelter. He was shocked to see the accident and might have known one of the victims of the Dallas car crash.
