Huge flames of the San Bruno fire that still continues to blaze have so far left nine people dead, several burned up, and a number of homes destroyed. The disastrous San Bruno fire broke out after 6 pm and has taken a large area under wrap of flames. The cause of the San Bruno fire is appeared to be a large gas-line explosion.

The rescue teams that are sent from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection for battling the San Bruno fire are equipped with four air tankers, two smaller attack planes and 25 fire engines.

Along with the rescue crews, off-duty firefighters are also participating in fighting the massive San Bruno fire blazes, even without their protective gears.

It has been reported that two patients are in serious condition at San Francis Hospital in San Francisco and more are expected to come. State of emergency has been declared by The Blood Center of the Pacific and people are asked to donate blood on Friday morning for San Bruno fire victims.
