The girl made infamous video that showed her throwing six puppies into a river, has been arrested in Bosnia. Police say that although the girl has been found, her name will not be released, as she is a minor.

It appears the many tips paid off in many networking site like several Facebook pages have been created to expose the girl, who appears to be a teenager that assisted with her discovery and arrest. The girl was from Bugojno and the video was made by her brother.

SOS, an animal protection group in Sarajevo sort of PETA in the US, issued a statement through Telegraph UK, "It is a mirror of society and the fact that young people are doing such things shows how they have been raised,"

Under Bosnian law a person who kills or tortures animals is punishable only with fines ranging from 15 to 5,000 euros.

The girl became the subject of an internet hate campaign and ride a 43 seconds of fame accross the glove after her actions were caught on Video camera and the footage posted online.

The fear was that this type of savage behavior could fuel a string of copy-cat-throwing wannabes who will pay any price to become famous.

What's wrong with her? She was raised that way- ALOT of people kill a dogs litter in these areas where people don't get their dogs and cats spayed. But, are you saying you want to kill her, and commit murder, over an act that everybody does in Bosnia?
I would never ever kill a dogs litter if I had to- and this was really idiotic filming the cruel act- But killing her? She will get fined by the police, not executed.

I wonder how her and her brother are feeling now. Are they elated with having hit the world headlines or could they not be caring one way or the other?
Both to me are as guilty as each other, to stand there and film an act such as this makes the camera man just as guilty.

I have actually been to bosnia and there are stray dogs everywhere. It's a very bad place to live in my opinion- full of graffiti and gypsies. Stray dogs walk through the central towns and beside roads- It's a really poor country which I think doesn't give a damn about animal cruelty. People don't get their dogs sapyed or euthanised- which is causing a big problem.
It's just that this person filmed it and put it on youtube for everyone in the world to see- which was very idiotic considering the amount of how many animal lovers out there.This is tragic should be stopped but to be honest -there will need to be a HUGE effort to get people to stop killing the litter from animals. An avergage dog that isn't spayed gets a litter 2 times a year of 3-5 puppies! And on the other hand what about abortians, murder, and violence- what should be stopped first?

You kill a human being you get life. Kill an animal and you get a slap on the wrist and community service. Abuse a child and you are a registered offender for life, your identity plastered all over the net. Abuse an animal your lucky to get a conviction. Is one individual any less dispicable then the other? Maybe a good old fashioned midevil dunking will prevent this young girl from becoming a serial killer. In reality she needs some SERIOUS psychological help. It is not normal to even think about commiting such cruelty, and I do not want to hear anyone trying to make any kind of excuses for her. Poor country or not she knew exactly what she was doing, laughed as that terrorized puppy, screaming, went sailing into that water. That is one VERY distrubed girl.
