Tardy band Guns N' Roses didn't learn a lesson at UK Reading Fest when the organizer cut short their performance due to an hour late arrival. At Dublin Ireland gig the band showed up late again, their angry Irish fans teach them a lesson by throwing bottles and items at the stage.

During the second song, singer Axl Rose asked members of the crowd who were throwing plastic bottles to stop or he would leave the stage.

MCD Promoter Denis Desmond appealed to the audience from the stage to stop throwing items.

Guns N' Roses has had long history of arriving late on stage, but that may have worked ten years ago when the band still at their prime. Axl Rose is the only continuing member of the original band. Guns N' Roses band now is not the Guns N' Roses we knew 10 years ago.

After backstage discussions for almost an hour, Guns N' Roses went back on stage and played for about 90 minutes, but some of the confused crowd had left by that stage.

MCD and the 02 organizers apologized for any inconvenience caused due to late running of the show.

Footage of the concert and the bottles being thrown on stage has popped up on YouTube.

We hope Irish fans can teach Axl Rose a lesson this time.

The O2 is poorly run and is a dangerous place for audience members and performers as well. The “Security” staff allow rude and dangerous behavior repeatedly and then they and the press chuckle and excuse it as “oh those Irish”. The Cat Stevens Fiasco was nothing more than a staged and planned anti-Muslim protest. The security allowed the booing and heckling like they did on this occasion. Go to a concert in the US- they may search your purse when you enter but they have adequately trained security that prevent problems BEFORE they happen. The O2 hires an angry half-man who is in charge of a swarm of ninny co-eds and they call that security. No wonder they have to call in the Guarda every other show.My advise to any performer, bring your own security entourage-your going to need it if you play in Dublin. Oh and if you buy tickets for the O2, get an extra ticket for your body guard or don’t bother going.

I certainly do agree. I was at the Guns N Roses concert. Before the concert swung into action staff were selling BOTTLES of Heineken or some other alcohol. This is a venue were there are miners, ect. It is repulsive that they continue to serve alcohol. The idiots who vandalized the show should have been put into cells, There is NO discipline or regulations in this country. By the minus all the bottle throwing Guns N Roses put on a spectacular show as always. I must add I feel alot of men are angered by Axl Rose, Why though Answer Men are very jealous of this man who is Sexy , struts along the stage. i could imagine Axl provokes the little boy inside. I brought my Son to this concert , i was not a big GnR s fan. Lastly, the O2 security was scatty and this Drama could have been prevented.
