With Albert Pujols contributing back-to-back multi-hit games with a pair of home runs on Sept, 8 and Sept. 9, The Punditty Project is declaring whatever post-Beck jinx that may have afflicted him as past tense. As for the St. Louis Cardinals, they are only 5 games back in the NL Central, so at least they are mathematically alive.
