Michael Douglas Diagnosed with Throat Cancer New Video

Michael Douglas has been in and out of the limelight in the past few months as we recently discovered that he had been diagnosed with throat cancer. Now, following his undisclosed and unexpected trips to the hospital in these last few months, the public finally knows that the actor has throat cancer. Appearing on 'The David Letterman' show Michael Douglas was quick to dispell fears that he has Stage 4 throat cancer.

The actor told the host that what he could be diagnosed with right now and what would be proper to call his cancer would be a Stage 1 throat cancer. Douglas told the audience that at Stage 4 throat cancer, one had little chances of surviving it since the initial tumor and cancer had spread irreparably. He would like to consider himself to be at Stage 1 though he has fears of it spreading.

Douglas told Letterman that he had an 80 percent chance of surviving this throat cancer of his and that he will not be making any public appearances for the next two months. Douglas has also been known to be a smoker – and a heavy one at that – for the greater part of his life. Him and Catherine Zeta Jones, who got married a long time ago, still remain married and we wonder if this throat cancer will have any affect on her acting.
