If you happen to be a member of the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey, you must have seen the odd occurrence today of a Tiger being loose on the course running a rampage amidst all those who were trying to play their best game of golf. This little Tiger, after apologizing for the lack of focus in his game in the previous months, came back with a pounce that many had forgotten - with it being over a year since he last played an under-65 round - last year for the playoffs for the BMW Championship is the only time he did better with a 62 first round finish.
The Ridgewood Country Club got the privilege this time around to host The Barclays Gold tourney 2010 and this is going to be the first leg of the FedEx Cup. Tiger Woods tied in first place with a six-under finish making a total of one bogey and seven birdies.
Not only did he start the game with style at the Ridgewood Country Club, he managed to finish it in style as well as he went for an eight foot putt on the 18th, making it for yet another birdie which would secure his pole position. Throughout the course, Tiger Woods only missed three fairways and two greens and this would be an astounding feat for the previously shaken and ill-at-ease Tiger.
