Kasur: The CIty of Bulhey Shah

India has released water in Sutlej river resulting in lower flood in the river, officials said.

According to Meteorological Department, India has released water in Sutlej river from Ferozwala Headworks after providing prior information about discharge of the water in river.

The areas of Kasur and Patoki will mostly be affected by the flooding. The local administration has established eight emergency relief camps in Kasur and Patoki to meet any contingency.

The officials evacuating the people residing at the banks of Sutlej to safer places.
