Jay Mariotti Arrested For Attacking His Girlfriend

After initial reports of ESPN commentator Jay Mariotti being arrested came to the fore, it has now been unveiled that he was charged of allegedly attacking his girlfriend on Saturday.

Saturday morning, Jay Mariotti was arrested for indulging into a domestic violence, but its detail was not released.

However, after Jay Mariotti was released on $50,000 bail Saturday noon, it was unveiled that on Friday night, Jay Mariotti had an altercation with his girlfriend at a California night club.

After that, his girlfriend left for Jay's house and it was at his place that the alleged assault took place. Jay's girlfriend called 911 and around 4:30 in the morning after an hour of the said incident, he was arrested with charges of domestic abuse.

Jay Mariotti, the Los Angeles based columnist, who is also on the panel of the ESPN show, "Around The Horn", was a great advocate of Tiger WoodsTiger Woods when it was alleged that Woods might have been abusive to his wife.
