The sudden loss of power steering pushed Mazda to recall 215000 Mazda5 and Mazda3 Sedans.
The Mazda 3 and Mazda 5 Sedans of the 2007, 2008 and 2009 models that were built through April 2007 through November 2008 are part of the Mazda recall.
The recent Mazda recall is due to the safety concerns of customers, as the defect in power steering could cause a crash.
It has been reported that Mazda recall will begin in September, after briefing the whole situation to owners of 2007-2009 Mazda5s and Mazda3s.
The whole process of Mazda recall should be completed by February 2011, as reported by the National HighwaySafety Administration.
However, good news is that, no injuries and deaths have been reported yet due to the issue with power steering.
Although, the issue does not pose any serious safety risks, as investigated by Mazda, through the decision of Mazda recall, company has shown its concern towards its customers.
