Lance Armstrong's First Place Acceptance Speech- Leadville Trail 100 8-16-09

Levi Leipheimer, an American professional road bicycle racer for UCI ProTour Team RadioShack, rode in his first major mountain bike race on Saturday and won the Leadville 100, the top US cycling high-altitude endurance challenge. Despite getting flown over his handlebars once during the ride, Leipheimer broke fellow RadioShack teammate Lance Armstrong's record time at the Leadville 100 in 2009.

Leipheimer won in six hours, 16 minutes and 37 seconds which broke the record of six hours, 28 minutes and 50 seconds set in 2009 by Armstrong, seven-time Tour de France winner. Armstrong decided not to ride in the Leadville 2010 and defend his 2009 crown due to a sore hip from a crash in last month's Tour de France.
