Water Main Break Floods Kissimmee Street

According to Dawn newspaper,a grandmother was miraculously saved from drowning in the recent floods that swept Muzaffargarh and several areas of Sind and Punjab.

Some 10 days back,Zainab Bibi ,a resident of Dera Din Pannah, district Kot Adu ,was seperated from her family of 30 members that included her children and grand-children.Zainab remembers that she was sleeping when suddenly water came from nowhere and entered their home. Her children were on the roof while she found herself in the midst of flood waters that were dragging her into the deep. However her cow ,Bhoori was near by and she caught hold of her neck and held fast. The home-bred cow swam for a long time and at the break of dawn the old lady found ground below her feet. Her cow,Bhoori had brought her to safety after which her neighbors found her and came to her rescue.

She declared that it was the works of the Almighty that saved her and she is optimistic that her loved ones will have be safe somewhere as well.

Thus one cannot doubt the ability of cattle to help in saving their owners and bringing them to safety. It is hoped thatthe authorities are able to locate Zainab's family and they are re-united with the old lady soon.
