Johnny CarsonJohnny Carson Foundation a trust that was set up by the deceased entertainer Johnny Carson who also rewrote a book on celebrity philanthropy, in 2005 has given $156 million to charity. This generous donation by the Johnny Carson foundation also makes them the biggest of all the charities in Hollywood.

This money will be distributed by the foundation to various organizations such as the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Planned Parenthood and the City's free clinic to whom the foundation previously used to donate in increments of $1 Million and $2 Million. Johnny Carson was extremely private about his earnings so it's unclear how much percentage this donation makes of his total earnings.
