David Palermo to end title Kevin McGuiness, after three years as a champion Wreck Beach Bare Bun's Champion. Palermo won the race naked, as far as five miles in Vancouver.

Palermo for the first time joined the race. Palermo, 27, a massage therapist, won the race naked on a beach in Canada, with a record time for 16 minutes, 58 seconds. He was 30 seconds ahead of McGuinness.

"That was the best run. Since long, I want to get off here," said Palermo, with glistening body, because the mixture of sweat and sand.

Vancouver's race, followed participants from age seven to 90 years. In between, there was a pregnant woman, who walks alone. An elderly couple who alternated between jogging and walking, in light rain.

Judy Williams, chairman of the committee Wreck Beach Preservation Society, said the main purpose of the race in, i is not for fundraising but to introduce a life more closely, by the way naked.

"When you're on this earth, you have one house that you live forever, regardless of what is in the external environment, you might have and that is your body. And if you can accept your body is much more tolerant and accepting of other people on the planet this, "he explained
