The Cedar Lake Eagles strongly believe in supporting both residents and activities in both their hometown and in Lake County. The Fraternal Order of Eagles, an international non-profit organization, unites fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills, and by promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. They held their Annual Golf Outing on June 26th at Oak Knoll Golf Course in Crown Point. “We had about sixty golfers partiicipate. Our annual golf outing is held to raise money for Lake County Special Olympics. This is our 6th year for this event. The money we raise stays here in NWI. So far we have raised about $40,000 for Special Olympics,” explained Eagles President Tom Gadomski.
