Romblon is a richly-endowed province that's made up of three
main islands: Romblon, its capital; Tablas, and Sibuyan. It
is generally mountainous but its islands are normally of low
hills and plains, and a lot are blessed with lovely beaches
and coves, waterfalls and caves. One of its islands, Carabao
Island, is only about two hours boat ride away from Boracay.
Romblon's marble deposits eat up a large deal of the
province. Cobrador Island in particular has deposits of rare
black, gold and green marbles.
The highest peak in Romblon found in Sibuyan Island is Mount
Guiting-Guiting and is one of the toughest mountains to
climb in the country. It has a height of about 6,000 feet
above sea level. This landmark makes for an extremely
thrilling climb and a fantastically picturesque backdrop for
picture taking.
Moreover, Romblon indeed is one of the most formidable
places to have sumptuous fresh seafood meals.
