STAR TIMES TV LAUNCHES 3 NEW CHANNELS.

In a bid to promote the African and African-American culture on the African continent, new pay TV station Star Times Uganda has launched 3 new channels bringing to total 36 channels including 6 local chanels.

In an interview with the company’s sales manager, Arineitwe Simon, said that the 40 million dollar company has brought on board Black Entertainment Television, Entertainment TV and MTV base.

He further said that Star Times has introduced a short code for potential subscribers as a result of too much traffic subscribers have been facing.

Meanwhile, the pay TV channel plans to broadcast 20% of the premier league matches in the coming seasion and will bid in next season’s bidding as it has got the requirements needed for such an undertaking.
