It's only a simple thing ask everyone. A pretty easy subject matter at that. It can't be too hard of a concept for people to grasp. It's called being kind to others.

It's a thought that goes deep into history. The Bible being one of the most known book tells us to be kind to others. Matthew 7:12 (New American Standard Bible) "In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you,...”

A quote from the anonymous - “If you want to be rewarded in life, treat others with highest regards.”

Many will remember Plato's quote - “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” A simple thought for such a deep thinker.

Zig Ziglar - “If you go looking for a friend, you're going to find they're very scarce. If you go out to be a friend, you'll find them everywhere.”

Bob Hope - "If you haven't any charity in your heart, you have the worst kind of heart trouble."

Jesse Jackson - "Never look down on anybody unless you're helping him up."

Author Unknown - "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice."

"Today, give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day." - Quoted in P.S. I Love You, compiled by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

"Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you - not because they are nice, but because you are." ~Author Unknown

Cleveland Amory - "What this world needs is a new kind of army - the army of the kind."

Can't we all agree that we are all living in tough times? All of us have some stress in our lives.

I've never seen any more nastiness than what I see at times on the Internet. This has to be the worst kind, because people are unkind to people they don't even know. You never know what the person might be going through.

I've seen so many examples here as well. Terribly hate filled words over articles. Offensive comments over an article that attacks the writer and not the news. Abominable articles are written as well. I just saw an article the other day that wished someone was dead.

Perfectly well informed detailed articles with tons of rate downs. We can especially see a trend when the article makes the most viewed list.

We can't agree on everything but we can agree to disagree when it comes to writing.

What about the old saying “What comes around goes around.” Anyone know who said that? Do you know what it means?

1.) The status eventually returns to its original value after completing some sort of cycle.

2.) A person's actions, whether good or bad, will often have consequences for that person.

I think everyone gets the point. Why don't we start thinking about being more mature – whether it be here or in the world. I believe kindness does show maturity.

Let me be the first to be reminded to be kind to others as well. I'm not always, but I do try - even if I have to re-think things.
