It has been confirmed by the Puerto Rico authorities that the girlfriend of Drug Lord Agosto named Sobeida Morel has been arrested.

José Figueroa Agosto was arrested after a longtime escape of almost a year from Dominican authorities. In Puerto Rico, José Figueroa Agosto was considered as the most wanted man involved in drug-trafficking charges.

After 8 hours of the arrest of José Figueroa Agosto by federal agents, his lover Sobeida Morel surrendered herself to authorities through a lawyer.

José Figueroa Agosto was finally arrested at 11:00 a.m. at Loiza Street on Saturday, near the touristic zone known as El Condado. His girlfriend Sobeida Morel was also accused of money laundering and drug-trafficking charges.

After Sobeida Morel was released on bail, she had gone into hiding. The authorities are expected to reveal the complete details of the José Figueroa Agosto case, which is expected to be held on 11:00 a.m. local time.
