Sony Issues New Terms and Guidelines for 3DPlaystation Users

Introducing new 3D capabilities in PlayStation 3, Sony has also introduced new terms and conditions.

The major warning comes for the parents to get their child diagnosed from the doctor t before allowing him to play the 3D games on Playstation3.

Sony, in its Terms and Conditions said, "The vision of young children (especially those under six years old) is still under development. SCEA recommends that you consult your doctor (such as a pediatrician or eye doctor) before allowing young children to watch 3D video images or play stereoscopic 3D games. Adults should supervise young children to ensure they follow the recommendations listed above".

It also includes that if the users feel discomfort such as straining of eyes, fatigue or nausea, while watching or playing 3D games, movies, then they must see the doctor and must stop the use of the Play station, immediately.

Talking to Kotaku, Reggie Fils-Aime, the President and COO of Nintendo of America said that they suggest that youngsters should not look at 3D images.

The new terms and conditions also advised the users to have regular breaks, while using the Play station.

After Nintendo and Samsung, Sony is the latest company to issue such guidelines for users.
