Recently, the news struck the internet regarding the engagement of Bret Michaels with longtime girlfriend Kristi Lynn Gibson. It was reported previously that Bret Michaels proposed the mother of his two daughters, Kristi Lynn Gibson on 4th July in Scottsdale, Arizona, and in the reply, Kristi Lynn Gibson said YES.

However, the whole drama of engagement ended when the rocker Bret Michaels denied the news of getting married with his on-and-off girlfriend of 16 years, Kristi Lynn Gibson.

On Wednesday's CBS Early Show, Bret Michaels was promoting his new CD "Custom Built" and placed a full-stop on engagement rumors with Kristi Lynn Gibson.

Talking about the ring that Kristi Lynn Gibson wears, Bret Michaels named it as a promise and friendship ring. Although, the ring in Kristi Lynn Gibson's hand is the symbol of some sort of commitment, the couple has not decided to exchange the vows in the near future as well.
