Top 5 reasons why Lebron left Cleveland and joined Miami

Lebron to the Heat!

5.Lack of support in Cleveland.

No, I'm not talking about the fans and the city, I'm talking about the team it self. The Cleveland Cavaliers essentially drafted Lebron in 2003 and did nothing to help him. I personally can only remember 3 players Lebron has played with; Anderson Varejão (because of his hair), Shaquille O'Neal (because he is Shaquille O'Neal), and Mo Williams (because he was actually pretty good). The point is that these were honestly fringe players who Cleveland expected Lebron to win with, which he did not.

4.Cleveland sports history.

Cleveland has not won a major professional sports title since the 1964 Cleveland Browns won the NFL championship. Since then the Browns have been a snake bit franchise who can't get to the big one, but that's not Cleavland's only problem. The Cleveland Indians won the World Series in 1948 and followed it up with a nice long stint of "close but no cigar". Since 1948, the Indians have appeared in 3 world series' (most recent 1997) and have lost each in spectacular fashion. The fact that Lebron was playing in a city that just can't seem to win, even with his spectacular talent, was probably an influencing factor.

3.The pressure to choose someone.

Think about being put on the spot to choose between two girls. one gorgeous girl and a less attractive one with a great personality who you've been friends with for years. Now if your friend asked you to pick one while you two were just having a conversation like normal people, you would maybe pick the latter because you might like her more, but what if the same scenario occurs on national television with millions of people watching you and speculating your choice. The knee jerk reaction is to choose the 1st girl just because it is the popular choice and you want to appease everybody. This is an odd metaphor I know, but it kind of makes sense (at least to me)

2.Cleveland Vs. Miami

This one may be a little shallow but really think about where a professional athlete would rather live. Cleveland is known for being on the dirty/polluted side, and it going through tough economic times. Miami is a beautiful gem in the south where is never snows and your always within walking distance of a beach. There is a reason more people go on vacation to Miami than Cleveland.

1.Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

Does this one really need explanation? Lebron had the choice between staying in Cleveland, where his number 2 guy is Mo Williams (not a bad player), or going to Miami to play with fellow all stars Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. What happened the last time 3 big players came together? The Celtics won the championship the following year with Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett.
