Heatwave, threatens Eastern America

NEW YORK - Citizens of the Eastern America were roasted by the hot weather after a record-breaking temperature was recorded in many states.

In New York City, it was recorded to have a 103 degrees Fahrenheit (39 degrees Celsius) temperature while 102 degrees in Philadelphia, this is much higher record that was registered back in 1999 in the said states also.

Including the temperatures recorded in Boston, Washington and New Jersey were still very hot, this was the reason why the residents were searching ways to avoid the hot season.

The Rhode Islands states have a record-breaking temperatures also.

At the same time, the local officials were also expecting a record-breaking increase in electricity demand.

If the temperature continuous to increase in the said portion of America, it will be considered as the heatwave phenomenon.

The heat season started during the Independence Day of America.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center in New Jersey were using ice in order to cool the water of the mammals.

In New York, thirteen (13) firefighters were confined after experiencing dehydration.

The Lt. Governor of Massachusetts wasn't free from the 90 degrees Fahrenheit temperature wherein he had a heat stroke and still ameliorates in the hospital.

In Philadelphia, one (1) person died of the intense hot weather. In the White House, US President Barack Obama advises the members of the White House Press Corp not to expose to heat of the sun and drink a lot of water in order to fight the intense hot weather.

You're right. Everybody should avoid the heat of the sun and drink a lot of water to stay cool at all times. We had experienced the same thing here in the Philippines 3-4 months ago.
