2007- Dneprpetrovsk, Ukraine~ The story started in Ukraine and made its way across the world. Most people know it as the sick video of teens bruitally murdering a man with a hammer and screwdriver, but what they don't know is the story behind it or how many other unbelievable other videos where made by the same people, in the same year.

The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs (Viktor Sayenko, Igor Suprunyuck and Alexander Hanzha) murdered a total of 21 victums between June 25 and July 16. They attacked vulnerable victums with blunt objects mostly in the face, leaving them unrecognizable. The video that was streamed onto the internet is a sickening example of this. During the four minute video the boys hit fourty eight year old Sergei Yatzenko in the face with a hammer as well as stab his eyes out and stab him in the stomach with a screwdriver. Videos and images of other killings where found in the boys' phones.

On February 11, 2009, Igor Suprunyuck and Viktor Sayenko were found guilty of premeditated murder were both sentenced to life imprisonment. Sayenko was only found guilty of 18 of the murders. The third Maniac, Alexander Hanzha, was sentenced to nine years in prison on robbery charges. All three were charged animal cruelty. Hanzha later commented "If I had known the atrocities that they were capable of committing, I woulld hove not gone near them (Suprunyuck and Sayenko) at gunpoint"
