A partial lunar eclipse will be observed on 26th June 2010 and people from different parts of the world will witness this spectacle
The lunar eclipse 2010 will be observed today in different parts of the world, however it will just be a partial lunar eclipse.
The Earth will cover 53.7 percent of the moon’s surface, casting a partial shadow on the moon. This lunar eclipse which will take place on 26th of June, 2010 will be one of the two lunar eclipse which will take place in 2010.
This is going to be the first lunar eclipse of the year 2010 and people are eagerly awaiting to witness this spectacle. The lunar eclipse will take place from around 5 PM to 8 PM and the day will be Saturday.
The second lunar eclipse of the year will occur on December 21st and it is going to be a total lunar eclipse. The countries which will be able to witness the first lunar eclipse of 2010 will be USA, Western Canada, India, Australia and some parts of East Asia.
