How Wikileaks got its leak - and Wired its story!

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the name "Manning" by now.

But do you know how Wired got the story?

Do you know how he gave himself away? And Why?

Most interesting though! And you can read all about it here:

http://www.allvoices.com/s/event-6151825/aHR0cDovL2dhd2tlci5jb20vNTU3MDQ3Ni90aGUtZnV0dXJlLWFjY29yZGluZy10by1hbWVyaWNhbnMtdGFsa2luZy1jb21wdXRlcnMtYW5kLXRlcnJvcmlzdC1udWtlcw==

In short: if you really wanna find out, scanning for keywords and total surveillance á la Big brother won't do the trick - at least not in a reliable way. It will just restrict the personal freedom of the individual. But checking out the personality will deliver the results - if you know how to evaluate properly! There are many things about this guy's mental state which will reveal what he is capable of and the responsibility level he has. Naturally his sexual behavior is one of them. Not because of the actual physical acts, but because it always goes together with a certain attitude which in return reveals the level of responsibility of the person in question.

Was Wikileaker Bradley Manning Betrayed By His Queer Identity?

It's been speculated that alleged Wikilekear, PFC Brian Manning, is transgendered. We've uncovered evidence that strongly suggests Brian Manning has some sort of LGBT identity, and that the man who snitched on him exploited this to win his trust.

Twenty-two year-old army intelligence specialist Brian Manning was arrested May 26th for allegedly leaking the notorious Iraq Apache attack helicopter video and more than a quarter million classified State Department documents to secret-sharing websiteWikileaks. He was turned in by his confidant, ex-hacker Adrian Lamo. Lamo then gave logs of his chats with Manning to Wired's Kevin Poulsen, who broke the story of Manning's arrest.

There are many unanswered questions about this story—the largest of which is: Why would Manning trust an ex-hacker he had never met enough to confess, almost immediately, via instant message, his terrible Wikileaks secret—something he knew could put him in prison for a long time? Lamo told Salon that Manning found him by doing a Twitter search for "Wikileaks," and that he doesn't know what motivated his confession. Yeah fucking right...

Just curious. Do you think Manning was set up then? Do you agree with Manning's leak? There's something weird about this story. And, by the way, I couldn't help but question the gender of this individual too. He sure looks like a woman to me. Strange that part too.

well... not really set up... because when he's out bragging and trying to impress while being vulnerable, because of a committed crime... well then I don't think you can call it "set up" anymore! But sure... this is a technique which reporters and interrogators use to get to the truth and to turn the suspect over. And why not? I see no problem there and certainly no moral/ethical issue either. - Still a whole lot better than beating the shit out of him!

Whether I agree with his leak?
Do you mean if I think it was right of him to leak the video and the - do I really remember this correctly? - half a million other documents?!!! This is definitely a criminal act, he's a traitor and possibly a spy as well, so he should - without doubt! - be dealt with accordingly!

Yeah he looks pretty female - but then again many wimps look like that... it's part of his mental state and his inability to be straight - and not just as far as his sex-life is concerned!
