Legend of the Seeker SOS

Terry Goodkind's The Sword of Truth series has captivated millions upon millions of readers not just nationwide, but also internationally as well! I can remember my first time picking up Wizards First Rule! As I began to read it, the first chapter alone was, if you will, the nicotine to get me addicted! For the life of me, I could not put that book down! After I finished it, I made my mom take me out to a local bookstore where I bought the next four books in the series! After I read those books, I went out and got the remaining six books!

The books had such an amazing fan base that after buying the rights to the characters and whatnot, Disney-ABC decided to convert this amazing epic story into a television series, The Legend of the Seeker! All of us Sword of Truth fans could watch the world we imagined from the books, come alive! Click here to view a synopsis of the plot!

We all watched as this beautiful, majestic world aired on our television set, and we watched as the shows lead actors: Craig Horner (Richard Cypher, The Seeker of Truth), Bridget Regan (Kahlan Amnell, Mother Confessor), and Bruce Spence (Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, First Wizard) brought the characters we loved so dearly to life!

Unfortunately, after just two seasons, the show was cancelled.

People everywhere, from the United States, to Europe, to Canada have either created or joined Legend of the Seeker SOS (Save Our Seeker) War-wagons. The primary purpose of these war-wagons is to show that we want more Legend of the Seeker! We have watched the shows since they began back in November 2008 until the end of Season 2 and the shows cancellation in May 2010!

Kate, the leader of Great Britians Legend of the Seeker SOS war-wagon, explains why she believes there should be more seasons:

"There are not enough words to describe why Legend of the Seeker is such an amazing show, and as a result it deserves to be given another chance. There are so many people out there who have yet to be drawn into the world of Legend of the Seeker, especially outside the USA where the show is given dreadful times to air. To the credit of the show, this has not stopped a fan-base being created around the world, all of whom are fighting hard to Save Our Seeker. There are so many story lines created in Terry Goodkind’s books that have yet to be touched on that I feel as if the first two seasons have only just scratched on the surface of the world of Legend of the Seeker."

Ashley, a loyal fan and member of one of the Legend of the Seeker SOS war-wagon's states why she believes the show deserves a new season:

"It brings us the excitement we all need and don’t see anymore on TV."

The show brought back to me, the feelings I once had when I was a younger kid, setting in front of the television set watching my favorite cartoons! Legend of the Seeker was my cartoon!

The show gave children a hero! Someone who they could look up to and count on to always do the right thing! My neighbors kid, a 6 year old, would watch Legend of the Seeker with me! He came from a bad home, and Richard Cypher was his hero! He said to me once, "I want to be just like Richard." Imagine my discomfort, telling him that there wasn't going to be any more seeker.

Well, there should be more Seeker! In the polls I have participated in, Legend of the Seeker has beaten shows such as Lost, Heros, and other loved series! I see no reason why Legend of the Seeker should not be continued! We want our Seeker!
