The People’s Park in the(formerly Palace in the Sky) is perched in high peak of Mt. Gonzales in Tagaytay City where sans the fog during wet season, you will be able to see the three great bodies of water, the Manila Bay, Laguna Lake, and the Taal Lake. It is also a great vantage point from which to view the smallest volcano of Taal, the city of Tagaytay and its neighboring towns which are colored with lush green trees.
Another place to be in Tagaytay is the Picnic Grove where tourists meet and greet each other. The Picnic Grove is where you can rent cottages for a day's stay or overnight stay. There, one can go horseback riding and play on its mini-park. Tagaytay offers Ridge Zipline and cable car ride as well. The Picnic Grove is located along Aguinaldo Highway on the way towards the Royal taal Inn and the People's Park in the Sky.
About two hours away from Manila, Tagaytay City is next to Baguio City as the summer tourist destination. The weather is cool there as the lush green trees are preserved.
Many souvenir shops surround the park and the grove. One can get t-shirt with personalized tagaytay prints, handwoven bags and coin purse as well as many other native products.
