Bleach fans far and wide hold onto your seats because the popular anime series is currently in the process of being secured by the Warner Brothers film studio. After the rights to the television show that airs weekly on Adult Swim are obtained, Warner Brothers plans to make Bleach into a live-action movie, like 2008's Dragonball Z. When asked what they thought about this new development, Bleach fans had this to say.
"It might be awesome..." Jade Gwin, 8 yrs. old
"I hope that Ichigo at least looks like Ichigo....and that it doesn't turn out like the Dragonball Z movie." anonymous
"I'm still kind of "if"y about it. I'm kind of worried it won't follow the story line. But, if it does, it's going to be the best." anonymous
Bleach lovers have their doubts about it: will it follow the story line? Will the actors resemble their characters? Will the Hollows look too fake, computer generated? Only time will tell. As for the cast, there isn't one yet, but it will certainly be all East Asian.
There is no news on as to who is to direct the live action movie, but director Peter Segal (The Longest Yard, Get Smart, Anger Management) and Michael Ewing are lining themselves up to produce the movie.
Let me know what you think of Warner Brother's newest project!
