Dana Key, member of DeGamo & Key band, has passed away at the age of 56 on Sunday. His death has left his fans, friends and family quite bereaved. Not only was Dana very good with guitars, he was a great music performer and a quality producer.
He died due to a ruptured blood clot. As far as Dana’s career is concerned, it was always at its peak in the late 70s when he became the co-founder of the Christian rock band DeGamo & Key.
Key and Eddie Degamo were both on keyboards and both belonged to Tennessee. Both of them were originally from Tennessee, but their careers began from Nashville and little did they know that they’d go such a long way.
Once Dana retired from his band, he shifted towards another direction. He started producing music under an Alternative rock label known as ‘Ardent records’. Under this label, Dana used to host TV shows to promote young and upcoming talent for the rock music industry.
Being a very responsible and spiritual individual, Dana always cared about the world he was a part of. May his soul rest in peace!
