She is the mother of two, a son and a daughter, but she is probably most famous for the fact that she went missing in April of 2007. Her name is Lisa Stebic and the day she vanished was April 30, 2007 and there has been no sign of her since then. Although her husband, Craig Stebic, has been declared a person of interest by the police, he has not been charged with any crime. The police, meanwhile, say they do believe she has been a victim of foul play.
The couple were in the process of divorcing when she vanished. According to Craig Stebic he believes that Lisa ran off with a boyfriend. However, she has not contacted her family nor has she reached out to contact her children. The police have stated publicly that they do not believe Lisa has run off with anyone. Craig Stebic also states that he was in the backyard when Lisa vanished. Again, police say they have their suspicions.
The family of Lisa Stebic has posted a $75,000 reward for information leading to her location. Her family has also said that, despite his protests that he is innocent, Craig Stebic has never attended any of the candlelight vigils that have been held by friends and family over the years.
Craig Stebic has not done much to alleviate the concerns of Lisa's family. He has, for example, refused to take a polygraph test. He has also refused to talk or help out investigators when they have turned to him for help. He also showed up in a local television news scandal when NBC reporter, Amy Jacobson, was filmed in a bikini and swimming in Craig Stebic's pool in the backyard. Lawsuits have been filed by Stebic, Jacobson and Stebic's sister over the airing of the video.
Lisa Stebic was officially added to the FBI missing-persons website that they run. Her photo and information about her was also broadcast at the end of an episode of "Without a Trace."
Lisa Stebic is five-feet, two-inches tall. He weighs 120 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She also has two visible tattoos that are a small rose on her ankle and a large butterfly on her lower back.
