Detection of the tomb of the army commander at Saqqara

A new detection was found today by the archaeological mission which is following the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University . Through their excavating on the graves they discovered the tomb of the army commander and the royal author Ptah -mose which dating from the first half of the nineteenth family (1320 1200) BC.

Ptahmose is an important figure , who has held numerous positions, including Prince genetic and writer and the supervisor of the royal temple of the god Ptah of Memphis city and the army chief and the supervisor of Shona and Treasury yields.

Also they found several of courtyards and chapels of the huge tomb with a length of 70 meters, similar in its design to a cemetery of Weya mother of Ptah and holder of the royal seal in the era of King Akhenaton, which was found in Saqqara at 2007.

In addition to Several boards, including funerary Panel incomplete pattern and pictures of the trinity of good Amun and Khonsu death and shows the owner of the tomb with his family, while he worship . It marked a return to worship Akhenaten religion , who call to worship the god Aton
