It has been suspected that chefs in Naples, Italy are using coffin wood lit up in ovens to bake pizza. Yes, coffin wood, that has been dug up being used as firewood.

Investigators in Naples are targeting small pizza shops in the area to do a thorough investigation of the shops. It is suspected that many small, lower end pizza shops are using dug up casket wood to use for their baking.

Cemeteries in Naples have been desecrated and targets for thieves for quite some time, as many flower pots were stolen from graveyards in the area.

However, bakery and pizza shop owners are not purposely trying to be ghoulish. The economy all over the world is still in rough shape. They are trying to cut corners and using casket wood is a good way to save money. But in the end has "grave" consequences. Pizza from Naples for dinner, anyone?
