Obama affirms support for immigration reform

In his close to eighteen months in office Barack Obama has singularly distinguished himself as the one and only President of the United States who is actively working to destroy his nation’s economic, political and structural foundations. And despite polls which clearly demonstrate that a majority of Americans are in disagreement with the Obama administration on practically every issue, President Obama seems to be undeterred from forging ahead with a radical agenda which is on course to permanently thwart America’s preeminence among nations.

One need only look at the trillions of dollars of debt which Obama and the Congressional Democrats are continuing to pile up to understand that Obama is single-handedly undermining the fiscal strength of the United States like no other U.S. President. In fact, it’s not hard to imagine that at the rate Obama is borrowing money to fund new entitlements like health care reform, the United States may well be going the way of Greece in terms of economic soundness. Unfortunately, not a week goes by without Obama cooking up some other multi-billion dollar program which will require the U.S. to add to its already eye-popping debt levels.

Perhaps it would be understandable if Obama’s programs had a positive effect on the U.S. economy, but as we’ve seen with the ill-named “Stimulus” bill the 800 billion dollars did little to impact job growth a year and a half after passage of the bill. Apparently un-phased by the failure of this fiasco, Obama is currently recommending a new “jobs” bill with a price tag of over 200 billion dollars.

On the international front, Barack Obama has frequently taken the opportunity to apologize for America’s past “arrogance” to other nations and subserviently bow to other world leaders for all the world to see. And despite a lot of tough talk about many of the world’s trouble spots, Obama has accomplished little with respect to reining in the nuclear weapon aspirations of countries like North Korea and Iran. Barack Obama’s proclivity to project an image of the United States to world as weak and compromising can only make the United States less secure and embolden our enemies.

This is no better example of Barack Obama’s wanton disregard for the security of the United States than the way Obama has played politics on crucial security issues than the administration’s dismissal of the recently passed Arizona immigration law. Obama has intentionally mischaracterized the language and intent of the Arizona law for the sole purpose of endearing himself to potential Hispanic voters. And in a shocking display of poor statesmanship, Obama appeared at a press conference with Mexican President Calderon and sided with the Mexican president in opposing the Arizona immigration law.

One has to wonder how much of this is coincidence and how much is by design. The pattern is clear and irrefutable and suggests that the biggest enemy of the state of America is sitting in the Oval Office of the White House.
