HGH Counteracts Cell Death Caused by Opiates

A recent study at Uppsala University in Sweden shows that human growth hormone, or HGH, can regenerate brain cells damaged by opiate abuse. Opiates inhibit neurological pathways in the brain and prevent the growth of new brain cells, but according to the study, treatment with HGH can revive cells by instigating cellular reproduction.
