John Gotti Jr. has decided to an extended television interview on "60 Minutes" where he talks about his life before and after being associated with gangsters.
The interview on "60 Minutes" showcased about John Gotti's Jr. complete life history and what happened when he talked to his father about leaving.
John Gotti Jr. was born and raised in Queens, New York. Then, John Gotti Jr. attended the N.Y. Military Academy. After his graduation, John Gotti Jr. supervised a trucking company and got married to Kimberly Albanese. John Gotti Jr. said he was ‘made' in 1988, and went up the stage of mafia ‘captain' in 1990. Moreover, John Gotti Jr. received a life sentence in 1992, while his father made him the boss that time, giving him a group of captains as his advisory team. While in prison, John Gotti Jr. led the mob.
In his interview, John Gotti Jr. stated that he discussed with his father about leaving the family, but that his father tried to talk him out of it. He was about to change his mind, according to John Gotti Jr., "I left the house that morning...and I saw my wife and I saw my kids...and I says ‘I got to try to end this.'"
