Delhi: Petrol pump strike in Delhi is withdrawn. A group of petrol pump owners have withdrawn the proposed strike on Friday after talking to MS. Shila Dixit, Chief Minister of Delhi. Shila Dixit has assured the negoating group of petrol pump owners that she will consider their demand on lowering VAT on petrol.

Petrol pump owners of Delhi have proposed a twenty four hours strike on Friday, April 9, 2010. They have demanded removal of excess VAT on Petrol. It is to be noted that Delhi government imposed higher VAT on petrol.

The proposed strike is declared withdrawn by a group of petrol pump owners but other group s are in favor of strike. It is not clear so far what will they do. Time line of proposed strike will start after few minutes at 00.00 hours. It is 23.37 PM while writing this news.
