More Than Half of U.S. Congress Place Loyalty to Israel Over U.S.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) -- the largest Israeli lobby in the U.S. -- circulated a letter urging the White House to 'reinforce' its relationship with Israel after what some call a bitter public confrontation with Binyamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister.

Since Vice President Biden's visit to Israel a few weeks ago, much of the U.S. corporate media has tried convincing the U.S. public that there are problems with relations between the U.S. and Israeli governments. In reality, those 'problems' are a farce. The relationship between both governments is very beneficial to Israel.

Much -- too much -- of the U.S. government is more loyal to Isreal than to the U.S. For decades, many of the 'leaders' and 'lawmakers' in the U.S. government have either held dual Israeli-American citizenship, or benefited greatly in one way or another because of their relationship with the Israeli government. The actions of the AIPAC highlight the major problem America has with lobbies and U.S. politics.

AIPAC appears to be exploiting differences in the Obama administration while it tries to figure out how to use the settlement crisis in Jerusalem to press Israel to kick-start peace negotiations.

More than half of the U.S. Congress signed a letter from the AIPAC asking President Obama to end public criticism of Israel and urging the U.S. to 'reinforce' its relationship with the Jewish state. Nearly 300 members of the U.S. Congress -- in the House and the Senate -- signed that letter.

AIPAC has Heavily Influenced the Israeli Policy in U.S. Politics for Years

According to some, nearly 300 members of the U.S. Congress may have committed acts of Treason, which is defined as the violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies or a betrayal of trust or confidence.

Those that signed the AIPAC letter undermined the power of the President by telling Israel that it doesn't matter what they do to the Palestinians, how many illegal structures are built on the territory that was stolen from them, how they behave towards the Lebanese, or what lies will be used to invade Iran, the signatories of the AIPAC letter are with them all the way.

The letter notes that there will be differences between the two countries, but those differences should be kept behind closed doors, and such differences are best resolved quietly, in trust and confidence. Obviously, they don't want the American public to be involved and the U.S. Government has lost the public's trust and confidence.

Wording in the letter is reportedly similar to an email sent out by AIPAC during Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit to the U.S. which described Obama's criticisms of the Israeli government as "a matter of serious concern" and calling on the US administration "to take immediate steps to defuse the tension with the Jewish state."

For years the AIPAC has heavily influenced the U.S. Israeli policy, targeting members of Congress who criticize the Jewish state and buying members of Congress who don't. Despite owning more than half the U.S. Congress, the letter may not be effective against the Obama White House which is determined to carry out peace negotiations between Arabs and Israel, partially, according to the Guardian, because there is little enthusiasm for Jewish settlements and partially because the White House has played an unusual card is suggesting that the Israeli government's intransigence is endangering U.S. interests in the Middle East as well as endangering the lives of U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Further confrontation between the Obama administration and the Israeli government remains to be seen but the propaganda should be entertaining.

"It's time to end Israel's U.S. allowance so both can gain"

There are also other reasons that more than half the U.S. Congress may be treasonous because of their undying love and support for Israel -- primarily because by blindly supporting Israel means they support the blatant acts of terrorism that have been carried out against the U.S. by the Isreali government, including the ones that appear to be connected to Mossad -- Israel's intelligence agency -- and the CIA in September of 2001. Speaking of 9/11 for those that missed it, the U.S. government recanted its claim that Abu Zubaydah -- the first 'high-value' detainee that was tortured, and waterboarded 83 times in August 2002 alone, and one of the main sources of information for the fraudulently fallacious 9/11 report -- had anything to do with 9/11 or al Qaeda.

Many Americans are blissfully unaware that the U.S. gives billions of U.S. taxpayer money to Israel, and will continue to do so for the next several years unless they do something about it. As noted by Business Week, it's time to end Israel's U.S. allowance so both can gain.

Many Americans are also blissfully unaware that Israeli influence plays a big part of the U.S. Government's plans to continue fighting wars that never end. The Pentagon secretly planned -- undoubtedly with great influence -- to stay at war for the next 80 years despite, as the past decade has shown, being unable to finance it without bankrupting and destroying this country. Speaking of wars, Israel just began bombing Gazan civilians again. Last year's war crimes apparently weren't enough for them.

Then of course, there is the ongoing disinformation campaign for bombing Iran, which Israel constantly festers. If you look closely at and pay attention to the garbage being spewed by the 'reporting' on Iran, you'll notice that it's almost the same exact propaganda campaign that was used to lie the U.S. to war with Iraq. The CIA has been plotting to sabotage Iran -- again -- with help from the Israel's intelligence agency, which is obvious if you look at the CIA's report on Iran's nuclear program. The same lies used to illegally invade Iraq are being recycled to illegally invade Iran by the U.S. government. In keeping with tradition, there is still no mention of Israel's nuclear program, which is quite extensive, by the U.S. government.

As usual, it's necessary to mention anti-Semitism since some people will inevitably try to claim that anyone speaking badly about Israel hates the Jewish people. That is a complete crock of crap. The relationship between the U.S. and Israeli government has proved extremely costly to Americans so I will say it again: It is not being anti-Semitic when you expose corruption and deceit perpetrated against the people of both countries by their governments. It's not anti-Semitic when you mention all the blatant fraud on Wall Street either. The corruption in both the U.S. and Israeli governments runs deep. It's time for the American people to know the truth and to clean up a massive mess that those in Congress who have placed loyalty to Israel above loyalty to the U.S. have caused. Accountability is long overdue.

The fact that more than half the U.S. Congress puts their loyalty to Israel above the U.S. sheds a lot of light on the problems America has faced for decades. Unless the people do something about it, it's only going to get worse and the U.S. will become involved in yet another illegal war. Politicians need to be held accountable, not given impunity for the amazing amounts of crimes they commit against their populations. It's time to replace the growing U.S. police state with Democracy.

The most important thing at the moment is for USA and Israel to sit on a round table and discuss the way forward, which should benefit israel.

The U.S. press seems to fear the Israel lobby more than the Israeli press. Often Haaretz is quite critical of Israel. This rarely happens in the U.S. media as it is cowed by the power of the US Israel lobbies.
