Second round of Naxalite attack in Dantewada: Firing on CRPF camp

Raipur: There is a fresh Naxalite attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Naxalites opened fire in a CRPF base camp at Polampalli near Dantewada. All Naxalites escaped after firing of CRPF in reply to fresh Naxalite attack.

76 CRPF were killed yesterday in a massive attack carried out by the Naxalites at Dantewada. This was done during operation "Green Hunt".

In between, P Chidambaram, Home Minister of India, visited Raipur, capital of Chhattisgarh. he paid homage to the assasinated members of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Jagdalpur district head quarter.

Dead bodies of the CRPF personnels were brought to Delhi in special aircrafts of Indian Air forces.

Chief Air Marshal of Indian Air forces have denied of any probability of air attack on the Naxalites. However, he told that the Air Force is ready to execute any order by the Government if situation warsened.
