An aircraft crashes into the UPS Freight Building – WSLS confirms!

Plane Crashes Into Power Lines

WSLS has confirmed that the reported aircraft crash incidence near Roanoke, Virginia is true. WSLS confirmed that an aircraft with two people on board has crashed into the UPS freight building near the Roanoke Regional Airport. According to WSLS, this accident took place around 12:50 PM and the plane was a Piper PA46 aircraft. The two people attempted to take off at the Roanoke Regional airport and the pilot called the air traffic controller for emergency assistance as they faced some kind of a technical difficulty.

WSLS has still not confirmed the casualties in the accident. The Airport Fire and Rescue Team as well as Roanoke County and Roanoke City have responded to the incident. The airfield was shut down for ten minutes but has reopened now. A thorough interrogation and analysis is planned to happen at the site of the incident soon.
