Goundamani is one of the most famous Tamil film actor and comedian. He made his entrance into the Tamil film industry Kollywood due to his strong theatrical background. His actual name is Mani but he was notably depicted the role of Oor-Goundeer in one of his stage plays and since then, he came to be known as Goundamani.

According to the recent reports, Goundamani was admitted to a private hospital was found to be suffering with breathing problems. According to news updates, different terms like Goundamani dead or Koundamani died were leaked out in the internet by people close to him. But still no official news is available about the terms Goundamani dead or Goundamani died.

Goundamani has acted in more than 800 films but he had been staying away from acting for a couple of years. He has made his last appearance in a Tamil film Jaggubhai recently released.

Discussions about the death of Goundamani started to move from Kodambakkam. Assumptions are being made that veteran Tamil comedian Goundamani had a heart attack and was admitted to a private hospital. Even, according to some rumors, he has been declared dead on 18th March 2010. Now the news is dispersing on internet, but the real story is different.

According to yesterday’s news, doctors have confirmed that the actor is in a normal condition now. He was instantly admitted in a private nursing house called Thousand Lights when he suddenly got a heart attack. He is likely to get discharged this evening from the hospital and will take bedrest for next few days. He is well-known for his work with Senthil in the Tamil cinema.
