A baby is born which looks like a Tiger

A woman gave birth to a baby boy in Pakistan, who has a genetic disorder which makes his skin appear with stripes

Today, an unbelievable thing happened. A baby was born in the remote area of Gilgit, Pakistan, which actually resembles a tiger. The baby’s skin has red stripes like that of a tiger on his entire body and has blood red eyes. The lips are turned outwards and he even bears two teeth. The baby is so scary to look at that people who have seen the baby have gotten scared of small children in general!

According to the doctors, the baby suffers from a rare genetic skin disorder called Harlequin-type Ichthyosis. This disease occurs when there are continuous cousin marriages in a family. Patients of such a disease usually die within a week, however some are fortunate or rather unfortunate to survive!

Previously, four such cases have been reported in Pakistan and all four died soon after birth. The babies mostly die due to infections but the oldest surviving case is that of Nusrat Nelly Shaheen.

The Government of Pakistan has announced to take full medical care of the baby who looks like a tiger and try to help him survive.
