Admiral Ackbar: Voted to be the new mascot for the Ole Miss’s University

Surprising as it may seem, but this is actually true! The students of the of Mississippi University are voting for Admiral Ackbar to be their new mascot. This step is in accordance with the new movement that is taking place at the Ole Miss’s University, of portraying an image of a 21st Century University, whereby the students were given the option to choose the mascot for the University.

Admiral Ackbar is a character from the ‘Star Wars’ books and films. Admiral Ackbar is the Supreme Commander of the Rebel Alliance fleet in the ‘Star Wars’ books and movies.

There is a huge support that Admiral Ackbar is receiving from the student body of the Ole Miss’s , however the final decision will rest with the Mascot committee to decide whether Admiral Ackbar will be the chosen mascot for the University or not.
