Man cut off lips,nose of woman

TAKHTBAHI: A women teacher had been deprived of lips and nose when her husband chopped off her lips and nose by a sharp knife here in Takhtbahai subdivision of Peshawar district on Sunday. Saeeda, a teacher of girls’ school, faced the incident when she refused to give here salary to her husband in Salo Banda area in Takhtbhai on Sunday police. Officials said. Saeeda Bibi, the teacher at the Government Girls High School (GGHS) Hajiabad, was rushed to district hospital Mardan by the neighbors as they heard her screaming in home. “My ties with my husband Suleman got stressed when I refused to give him salary, Saeeda in worried voice said. She said to police in hospital that her husband every month would snatch salary from her, which forced her to shift along with her children to her father’s home. Her lips and nose had been cut off from her face is under medical treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital Mardan. The woman, who was the only earner for her kids, said her in-laws persuaded her to come back to her husband’s home. She said that her husband wants to buy a car for himself, which was the bone of contingent. Saeeda said that when she persuaded by her-in-laws to come back home the incident happened. Saeeda said when she refused to give him money; he started beating her, then chopped her lips and nose and even tried to strangulate her. Saeeda had married Suleman some 10 years ago and has three children from him. The family members of Saeeda caught the accused and handed him to the police. Saeeda teaches is teaching in Lower Dir Girls high school, which was recently destroyed by militants. She got injuries some days ago when a suicide bomber explodes himself at the front of the same school and killed dozens including three American in low Dir.
