Feb. 13, 2010- Stuck in "Snawesome" or "Snowmageddon" in NE America? Here's more than 30 things you can do to pass the down time!
Okay, raise your hands high if you want to see another picture or video clip of a Olympian with a funny name we can't pronounce slam into a pole at 90 mph. Anyone? Anyone?! Oh come on, it wouldn't be front page news if we didn't all look at the carnage and award those who covered it! Well, if you are tired of seeing endless coverage of someone too young to even legally drink slam into a metal poll and smash his head, check out these stellar snow creations. I've done reports like this before, so this is an "update".
I did a jog by Huffington Post, which is a tad bit too liberal for me. But, their comedy is far out. Check out their latest snow art!
And Huffington's protest snow art outside the White House!
I also went by and viewed the International Snow Sculpture Championships that just wrapped up a week long competition in Breckinridge, Colorado. You won't believe your eyes!
The same folks also have their latest 2010 gallery up on their website here.
The UK has my vote for some really wonderful international art!
A grandfather in Michigan makes his granddaughter a snow castle every year. He must really love this young lady because the castle is 12-by-15-foot with more than 1,100 foot-square snow blocks!
If this is what snow angels look like, then please shoot me and put me out of my misery!
After being so hard on the Chinese lately, I'm going to send a shout out for all of their talent here.

This one is sad. I appreciate all those who serve our country!
I wish I had these people's talent...I'm no where near this artistic!
I would never ever imagine snow being this beautiful!
I think that should do it. I've already forgotten the stinging effects of reality! Now make yourself some nice hot cocoa, relax, and read a book. Or if you are me, turn the beans off on the stove and get the baby off the dining room table...
