UPDATE Conflicting updates CBS News is reporting 2 dead and 250 hurt in the explosion. I will report more on the reports until we find which information is the most accurate.
UPDATE: The latest on CNN, there have been no confirmed causualties according to police. CNN misunderstood call on the scanner. Officials are claiming they cannot confirm fatalities or injuries.
The blast was at the Kleen Power Plant in Connecticut that was still in the "testing phase" and was supposed to go online later this year.
So far there have been more than 100 fire fighters on the seen who are dismantling the building in search of people. There were approximately 50 people working at the time of the accident. So the CBS news numbers were innacurate.
They believe that the workers were "purging" a natural gas line at the time of the blast.
It is being reported the blast could heard and felt through the ground for up to 20 miles away.
