The Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies (DDME) is encouraging all persons that wish to support the regional humanitarian effort in Haiti are encouraged to make a cash donation to the Turks and Caicos Islands Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Appeal Fund.

The DDME is also currently exploring ways by which goods in kind can be sent to Haiti. Once the needs and requirements for good become clearer in the coming days a further release with addition instructions will be release.

Once again to immediately help the Regional Humanitarian effort in Haiti please support the TCI Red Cross with Cash donations to their account set up at First Caribbean Bank.

For our friends in Jamaica: Here's one place where you can offer assistance to Haiti: "Donations of food, clothing, medical items, bedding, tarps, cash etc. Drop off point is Stella Maris Pastoral Centre, 62 Shortwood Road.
