The Phil Military is still trying to fully account the 179 Filipino peacekeepers stationed in Haiti. These peacekeepers are part of the 9,000 strong foreign contingent detailed to maintain peace in the country.

A 7.0 magnitude quake struck the capital of Haiti at 8:30 Wednesday (Manila time). The earthquake which many describe as catastropic reduce to rubbles many buildings including those housing many UN offices.

Hoping that all are safe......
