100000 employments in doll drum in Rajasthan

There are almost 100000 vacancies pending in State government services. 56610 jobs are pending for recruitment in various state government departments. An additional 20183 recruitments are under process in Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). There are 5000 posts vacant in various electricity companies in Rajasthan.

AshokAshokAshok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan announced few days back in Jaipur that he will start recruitment process for all those one lakh vacancies pending for recruitment under the state Government.

The then Government of Rajasthan promised the Gurjars to provide them with special reservation in an agreement signed after violent movements by the Gurjars. The promise has been challenged in the High court of Rajasthan.

It is to be noted that the Gurjars are powerful community in Rajasthan and had violent movements against the then Rajasthan Government two years back. The movement caused loss of many lives and the whole province remained highly disturbed during the movement. Even train and road transports were blocked by the Gurjar activists.

The issue has taken a different move when Kirodi Singh Baisla warned the Government not to move this way. He warned Ashok Gehlot that Gurjar will start their movement if Government proceeds to employ people without special reservations to the Gurjars.
